Objective:

To maximize risk-adjusted total return consistent with investment in long-term high-quality fixed income securities.

Strategy:

Invests predominantly in a broadly diversified portfolio of U.S. government and foreign government securities and high quality corporate bonds. Other sectors may include mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities as well as short-term investments.

Expenses (or expense ratios) are reported as the percentage of total expenses for the management and administration of the Pension Boards’ Bond Fund and will vary annually.  There are no sales commissions, 12b-1 fees, or load charges.  Fees as a percent of assets in 2013 were 0.37%.
